Course Summary
This triple certification course is a MicroTrain Technologies Exclusive! By offering the new Managing a Network Environment module along with the Microsoft Exchange 2003 as electives in the MCSE curriculum, we are able to provide our students with three highly-sought after certification programs for the price of one.
Course Description
The MCSA, MCSE and the Exchange 2003 are the three premier Microsoft certifications. Because these certifications come directly from Microsoft, they are recognized internationally as a level of competency accepted and valued in the Information Technology industry. The MCSA program trains students how to install, configure and manage a network using the Windows 2003 operating system (which has replaced Windows NT) in the business world. The MCSE program extends the material learned in the MCSA and incorporates network design into the curriculum. The Microsoft Exchange 2003 course trains students how to configure Exchange 2003 servers including mailboxes, public folders, gateways, chat, and instant messaging systems.

This combined certification program consists of seven modules with one exam per module. The MCSA/MCSE/Exchange 2003 training program covers all seven modules. Each of the seven modules is covered individually in the following pages. This course is taught to achieve two goals. Goal one is to teach the necessary information to pass all eight exams. Goal two is to give students enough hands-on practice in each module so that the student can go into an interview and the workplace with confidence knowing they can put into practice what they have learned. Although it is extremely important to receive the certification, it is every bit as important to know and have the hands-on practice and experience with Windows 2003 and the Exchange Server platform!

In addition to the hands-on, instructor-led classes, students are encouraged to practice their new skills in our open labs. The open labs contain all the equipment and software necessary to refine the skills learned during the course, and are available to students seven days a week. Also available to students is the practice exam lab. We recommend that students take several practice exams before taking the actual exam in order to gauge their strengths and weaknesses in the course material.

Together with the instruction, labs, and hard work, the MCSA/MCSE/Exchange program is 100% achievable!
